MAS COTEK MANUFACTURING

A day before drying process, farm worker will pluck fresh Mas Cotek leaves, the leaves are washed and tossed before being sent to drying process.

This is to make sure the cleanliness and freshness of the leaves guarantee for sustainable quality control

Drying process is carried out inside oven at low temperature where leaf shall be dried for 72 hours.

This process is very important as it will determine the leaf humidity according to specifications determined. This is to prevent mould and bacteria existence further to help extend the Mas Cotek 'shelf live' life span.

After drying process, Mas Cotek will be blended by using a grinder.

The dried leaves will be blended to graded powder or 'dust grade' before bundled into pouch.

Before grade dust is sent to packaging process, grade dust stated must go through several quality inspection (analysis).

The stated analysis includes beverages sense or 'taste' and also most importantly is the Mas Cotek powder humidity, where it must comply to specifications which has been prescribed.

After drying process, Mas Cotek will be blended by using a grinder.

The dried leaves will be blended to graded powder or 'dust grade' before bundled into pouThe grinded Mas Cotek will be bundled into box pack for sales.

Packaging type also should be given attention because it can influence freshness.

For example, if the package has no airtight then Mas Cotek will absorb humidity and air. This causes result in protracted oxidation process and cause the Mas Cotek nutrition lost.

The Mas Cotek powder is to be packed with machine pouch packer that produces 50 pouches in one minute. The pouches later are wrapped
inside plastic sheath and packed inside moisture proof box where the exterior layered is air-tightened with cellophanech.
